Hi there!

I'm a lover of colour and all things pretty. Needless to say, I'm also a lover of making and crafting with my hands - from an initial concept in my head to experimenting with colours and materials, all the way to the product coming into being!

The materials that I work with vary over time, but my first love was and I suspect will always be paper (#paperaddict!). When I was little I would hand-cut pop-up cards for my friends and family. In recent times I discovered my love for foiling! Combine that with my love for colours and you get foiled cards in gold, copper, blue, teal, mint, pink, the list goes on.

And what can I say about tassel garlands? It just seemed natural to play colours with tissue paper too. ;)

On my current list of 'favourite materials' are also these 100% merino wool felt that I found (all the way from Europe folks!) - they're so soft and versatile; my mind keeps wanting to think of new things to make from them. And of course, felt balls. Not quite merino, but wool nonetheless. And we (me, and you my lovely customers!) get to support the women in Nepal at the same time.

My favourite part of this journey? Hearing happy feedback from my customers, when I see smiles on faces at markets and when the little children hurry up to the stall to check out what's on offer. Best part. :)

I've learned and gained so much from Day One of The Little Makery, and I know there's still heaps more to come. I am ever so grateful for this journey!
